Message from the Head of School
Welcome to Trinity Presbyterian School where you will find a unique approach to education. We
contend a Christian school can and should offer a challenging, college preparatory education along with full arts and athletic programs and yet remain steadfast in its commitment to the Christian faith. Simply because a school calls itself Christian, does not mean students should be educated at a lesser level. Then again, having a rigorous academic program does not mean it cannot be thoroughly Christian in all it does both in and out of the classroom. For over 40 years now, Trinity Presbyterian School has maintained this balance and we are confident you will like what you find here.
A school can only be as good as its faculty for they serve as the backbone of the institution. Trinity is an exceptional school because of our outstanding and devoted teachers. They know why they are here and are intentional as they carry out the school's mission each and every day, which is "to glorify God by providing for students the highest quality college-preparatory education, training them in the biblical world and life view, thus enabling them to serve God in spirit, mind and body." Our teachers are committed to the fundamentals of the Christian faith, understand their respective discipline, communicate it clearly and articulately, teach to a high standard and enjoy mentoring students. What else does a school need!
At Trinity we believe every student needs access to the most current technology. Trinity is the first school in the River Region to implement a grade-wide Apple laptop initiative. Combined with SmartBoards in every classroom, Apple Mobile Labs and wireless internet throughout the school, our students are taking a bite out of the future every day. Apples aren't just for teachers anymore!
Again, thank you for allowing me to welcome you to Trinity Presbyterian School. I am so pleased that you stopped by and hope you will take a moment to peruse the rest of our website.
