Gifts to the Trinity Annual Fund enhance the quality of the student’s experience at every grade level and in every program.

The 2011-2012 School Year Funding Priorities

Technology

Program Enhancements

Facility Renovations

Faculty Professional Development/Classroom Enhancements

Family Tuition Assistance

These priorities have been determined through a careful analysis by the school leadership, with input from the faculty and staff, based on the needs of our students and families.

The entire Trinity community – Board of Trustees, faculty and staff, alumni, parents, grandparents, alumni parents, businesses and foundations can help.

Trinity be an even better school. The students will be grateful for our support.

We thank you in advance for your support.

Annual fund gifts made in 2010-2011 assisted in funding family tuition assistance, and purchasing technology equipment for classrooms, new band uniforms and faculty professional development.

Technology
Nurturing Inquisitive Minds

Trinity needs to:

• Expand the utilization of technology to enhance teaching and learning. This a priority.

• The school needs to purchase additional software and equipment for all classrooms.

• Purchase a cart for use in the Lower School and thirty IPODS to be utilized in teaching and learning in grades K4-5.

The utilization of the laptop computer has been phased in with seventh and ninth grade students using the laptops in the 2011 – 2012 school year. Laptops are used by students and teachers for collaborative study, classroom instruction, college preparation, independent study, access to internet resources and developing writing and communication skills.

Program Enhancements
Strengthening Body and Spirit
Encouraging Cultural Appreciation
Developing The Whole Person

Annual fund gifts support students in a variety of ways outside the classroom:

• The arts – visual, dance, choral, instrumental; 100% of Lower School and 60% of Middle and Upper School students participate in one or more arts programs.

• Athletics – 34 girls and boys teams compete in class 3A sports; 70% of Middle and Upper School students participate in one or more sport.

• Community Service – volunteer service work locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

• Field trips, guest speakers

• Clubs, organizations, honoraries.

Facility Renovations
Trinity needs to make improvements to enhance facilities for the academic, arts and athletic programs.

Each year facility renovations and upgrades need to be done. Recent renovations done include the Middle School art room and science classrooms. The school maintains a facility renovation list and needs to continue completing projects each year.

Faculty Professional Development/Classroom Enhancements
Challenging Minds, Changing Lives.

Trinity has a professional development program which includes seminars, courses and training to enhance teaching and learning. These enhancements support teachers and students in all grade levels.

Family Tuition Assistance

Trinity is committed to assisting students and families who demonstrate financial need in order to attend Trinity.

• Tuition assistance awards are determined by a review of the family’s ability to pay tuition.

• The school uses a tuition award process that requires income documentation which is incorporated into the tuition assistance calculation done by the Financial Aid for School Tuition(FAST) organization to insure that the need is clearly justified.

• Gifts are needed to enable the school to help as many families as possible.
