Serving others is paramount at Trinity. We understand that we were commanded “to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (I Peter 4:10). From the first day of Lower School to the last day of Upper School, we focus on putting others first. We see the impact of this effort not only in how students present themselves, but also in their respect and support for others.

Service learning is more than community service or volunteerism; done properly, it links education to service and service to learning. At Trinity, service is viewed as an integral component of a student’s education. 

From Lower School to Upper School, students explore service in three ways: developing awareness of the impact and meaning of service, learning about the needs and resources that meet those needs with the Montgomery community, and participating in outreach activities through our community partnerships. One of our greatest accomplishments at Trinity is when a student realizes that they can create their own ideas and solutions that truly make a difference in the world.

As students grow through service contributions, they also learn to appreciate each member of the Trinity community. Our ideal size creates a sense of belonging that can come only from a caring, nurturing environment. To be at Trinity is to belong at Trinity. And it is not just our students who belong. Our community includes the whole family, so we encourage parents to get involved at Trinity as well.


  • Trinity School's Mission Project, Change 4 Change, continually donates over $20,000 annually to charitable organizations in the River Region and throughout the world.

  • Trinity’s Junior and Senior classes annually serve over 1,100 hours of community service with local organizations, such as Common Ground, Habitat for Humanity, and The Salvation Army.
