Technology At Trinity

Apple Distinguished School

Trinity Presbyterian School was the first school in the Tri-county area of Montgomery, Alabama to implement a 1:1 laptop initiative which resulted in being selected as the first Apple Distinguished School in the River Region. Trinity Presbyterian School’s technology department continues to build and refine our technology infrastructure as we endeavor to meet the technological needs of our students and provide a state of the art 21st century education. Development of technology skills are infused into the teaching and learning process thus allowing us to achieve our mission of glorifying God by providing for students the highest quality college-preparatory education.

The technology department supports a wide range of innovative technology initiatives across three divisions. Our responsibilities include the management of a universal wireless system, classroom and administrative computers, laptops and other Apple devices, and a wide range of student and administrative software packages. Most importantly, we foster the appropriate use of technological tools for improving teaching and learning in our K3-12 school.

Using cutting-edge Apple technology, our teachers provide students with a foundation of skills critical for success in the 21st Century. Our students use this knowledge in ways that promote creative thinking, thoughtful exploration, and problem solving. The devices that are provided allow them to connect to and collaborate with students and teachers in our school community as well as to people and classrooms around the world.
