College Guidance
As a college preparatory school, Trinity is committed to equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to thrive beyond graduation. Our personalized college counseling program begins in Upper School and continues through senior year, helping students explore options that reflect their academic, social, and spiritual goals—building on the strong Christian foundation laid at Trinity.
Freshman & Sophomore Years
Students begin their college journey by creating a SCOIR account and completing a personality assessment to identify strengths and interests. They attend College Day events and start developing an understanding of the college landscape with guidance from our counselor.
Junior Year
Juniors and their families participate in one-on-one meetings to begin shaping a college list and outlining next steps. Parents receive SCOIR access to stay informed, and students are invited on College Road Trips to visit a range of campuses across the Southeast. A Junior Parent College Night includes insights from guest college admissions representatives.
Senior Year
With a strong foundation in place, seniors meet regularly with the college counselor to finalize college choices, prepare applications and essays, and secure recommendation letters. Throughout the year, students receive hands-on support for every step of the admission process.
