Trinity’s History
Since its founding in 1970, Trinity Presbyterian School has been dedicated to fostering spiritual, intellectual, and physical excellence in the River Region. A system of shared values coupled with academic rigor has laid a foundation that’s fostered independent thinkers.
A diversity of people and ideas, coupled with free and open discourse, lays the foundation for students and scholars to bring forth original ideas that define fields and enrich human life.

What began in a local church (the eponymous Trinity Presbyterian Church on 1728 South Hull Street) with 200 students and 15 instructors has grown into a thriving academic community that equips young people to glorify God in spirit, mind, and body.
Guided by the vision of our founders—Mr. Jack Noble, Mr. John Albritton, Mr. Bill Joseph, and Mr. Withers Davis —Trinity has spent over five decades nurturing a Christ-centered community rooted in academic rigor, Biblical truth, and a commitment to the holistic development of every student.
Since our founding, we’ve been honored to be under the leadership of our Head of School:
