Fine Arts at Trinity

At Trinity, the Fine Arts program nurtures the mind, body, and spirit by encouraging students to explore and develop their God-given talents. Rooted in the belief that God is the ultimate Creator, our program provides meaningful opportunities for students to express creativity while growing in confidence, discipline, and purpose. With a dedicated faculty of educators and accomplished performers, students benefit from real-world expertise and individualized guidance across the arts. Whether on stage, in the studio, or behind the scenes, every student is invited to discover the joy of creating—and the joy of glorifying God through the arts.

What is it like to pursue Fine Arts at Trinity?

At Trinity, we believe every student is uniquely gifted by God with talents meant to be discovered, nurtured, and shared. Our Fine Arts program is committed to helping students uncover those gifts and develop them to their fullest potential in an environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and spiritual growth.
With a wide range of opportunities in visual arts, theatre, and music for students in both Lower and Upper School, Trinity offers a vibrant and enriching fine arts experience.

Through performances, exhibitions, and showcases held throughout the year, students are given meaningful platforms to grow in skill and passion as they pursue excellence in their chosen discipline.

Jenny Letner - Department Head of Trinity’s Fine Arts

For over 25 years, Jenny has poured her passion and expertise into Trinity’s dance program, and we’re so grateful for the incredible impact she continues to make. She teaches Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Show Choir, and the Varsity Dance Team — and she’s also the choreographer behind our school plays!

Jenny has also taught Modern at Alabama Dance Theatre for more than 30 years, where she once danced professionally. Her training includes studying with renowned artists like Kitty Seal, Haynes Owens, Bella Lewitzky, and Katherine Sanders.

Jenny’s legacy of excellence inspires our students every day.
