Trinity Presbyterian School | Early Childhood Readiness Assessment

Readiness Evaluation

At Trinity, we recognize that early childhood is a foundational time in a student’s academic and social development.

As part of our admissions process, we offer a thoughtful and engaging Playground/Readiness Assessment to ensure each child is prepared for the learning environment best suited to their stage of growth.

K3, K4, and K5 Assessments

Once your application has been submitted, the Admissions Office will schedule a playgroup readiness assessment tailored to your child’s age level:

These age-appropriate sessions are designed to observe each child's developmental milestones in a nurturing, play-based setting. During the assessment, we focus on communication skills, social interaction, motor skills, and general school readiness. This helps us ensure that your child is well-positioned to thrive at Trinity.

Next Steps

  1. Submit your child’s application online.
  2. The Admissions Office will contact you to arrange a convenient time for the readiness assessment.
  3. Assessments are held in small groups in a playful, welcoming environment.

If you have questions about the process or what to expect, please feel free to contact our Admissions Office.

Academic Readiness for Grades 2–11

In addition to our early childhood assessments, Trinity also evaluates academic readiness for applicants in Grades 2 through 11. This ensures students are well-prepared for the expectations of our curriculum and school community.

Required Documents and Assessments:
