Lower School Enrichment Classes from Kindergarten to 5th Grade

Lower School Enrichment Classes

At Trinity, we believe that education goes beyond the core classroom experience. Our enrichment classes are designed to help students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade explore their interests, discover their God-given talents, and grow in confidence through hands-on, engaging experiences.

These classes provide meaningful opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and personal growth in a Christ-centered environment.

Art

In the art studio, students become creators as they explore the elements of art—line, shape, color, texture, and form. Using a variety of techniques and mediums like painting, clay modeling, printmaking, and collage, children learn to express their thoughts and emotions visually. Art classes not only build technical skills but also foster confidence, imagination, and an appreciation for beauty in God’s creation.

Spanish

Our Spanish program introduces students to the language, culture, and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. Lessons come alive through music, games, storytelling, and cultural celebrations such as Día de los Muertos, Christmas, and Cinco de Mayo. Students build foundational vocabulary and listening skills while developing respect for global diversity and a curiosity about the world around them.

Choral Music

Choral music at Trinity invites students to experience the joy of making music together. Through singing, rhythm exercises, movement, and the use of classroom instruments, students learn musical concepts such as pitch, tempo, melody, and harmony. Performances and classroom activities help instill confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music and worship.

Media Center

The Media Center is more than just a library—it’s a hub for discovery. With over 20,000 books and a range of innovative tools like iPads, robots, and building materials such as Legos, students are encouraged to read, imagine, and explore. Weekly library time fosters a love for literature and supports research and technology skills essential for today’s learners.

Physical Education

PE classes at Trinity promote healthy minds and bodies. With a focus on motor skill development, physical fitness, and teamwork, students participate in fun, structured activities that emphasize cooperation and sportsmanship. Daily movement builds lifelong habits of physical wellness and encourages students to value perseverance, leadership, and fair play. Learn more about our health and wellness approach.
