Welcome to Upper School
The Upper School at Trinity aims to sharpen the focus of our education on three distinct areas: college preparation, biblical worldview, and the strength of the mind, body, and spirit of each student. Our faculty work diligently to prepare each of our students in the Upper School for the rigors of college and beyond. Moreover, we do this in a manner that puts Paul's words in Ephesians 2:10 at the forefront of our mindset: we believe that each of our students is the masterwork of our Almighty Father created from the beginning of time to do great works in the name of Christ Jesus. Meaningful relationships with students in our intimate campus setting allow faculty to walk beside students, constantly challenging, nurturing and loving them toward these great works. Ultimately, the process results in students who are prepared to enter the world with a biblical compass, succeed at the very best universities in the South and throughout the country, and demonstrate a large array of valuable skills all the while glorifying God.
Upper School @ Trinity
Trinity’s Upper School includes grades nine through twelve and focuses on transitioning from high school to college. Our upper school students work on developing independent methods of learning, disciplined time management, and personal responsibility and initiative. The school year consists of two semesters. Students attend seven class periods daily, each of which is filled with required course work, with the exception of seniors who may choose to have one free period per semester. The core curriculum consists of four years each of English, math, science, and social studies along with specialized instruction in foreign language, the fine arts, christian studies, computer science, and physical education.
